PORT WASHINGTON, NEW YORK, January 9, 1997 -- TDK today expanded its popular line of CD'ing audio tape with the addition of CD'ing I, a premium-grade normal-bias formulation. New CD'ing I cassettes are designed for use by active music lovers looking for a tape that simplifies product selection while maximizing recording quality. The new CD'ing I cassette is specifically designed for total ease-of-use and superior sonic performance by today's demanding "CD generation."
The CD'ing I formulation features exceptionally wide dynamic range and reduced modulation noise, combined with an extra-strong housing and transparent RC mechanism which makes it ideal for high-speed dubbing applications, as well as for use in boomboxes, mini systems, dual-well cassette decks and headphone stereos.
Both TDK CD'ing I and CD'ing II cassettes are packaged in bright, eye-catching wrappers that prominently display an oversized CD image -- making it easy for consumers to find the right tape for their CD recording.
TDK is also expanding its CD'ing II line of cassettes with a new 74-minute length. CD'ing II is a high-output, high-resolution Avilyn Type II formulation specially engineered to ensure faithful CD reproduction.
